My phone battery was dying so fast, so I decided to replace it, I replaced the battery phone turned on but digitizer wasn’t working. I unplugged the lcd cables and replugged them, but then it let out a puff of smoke from the cable area. Now the phone doesnt turn on at all, and i’ve tried charging it resetting it and everything. I tried connecting to itunes but it didn’t work. I need the photos off this device.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Ben, what about the other two lcd connectors? Are they fine? How much would the repair cost at least?

Rudra Dey this “but then it let out a puff of smoke from the cable area “ sounds like something got shorted out. You would have to take a close look to see if there is any component that is missing or looks damaged etc. Post some good pictures of your logic board with your question so that we can possibly try to help you with this. For as long as your phone does not come on, there is no chance of getting any files/data off it. Adding images to an existing question

Backlight filter blown and possibly more components on the backlight circuit.

This at the very least needs to be taken to a local reputable phone repair store that does microsoldering to get this fixed.
