Most of the time, the reason an iPhone won’t ring for incoming calls is that the user has accidentally turned on the Do Not Disturb feature in Settings. Do Not Disturb silences calls, alerts, and notifications on your iPhone.

Firstly make sure you have turned off Do Not Disturb by going to Settings -> Do Not Disturb and turning off the switch next to Do Not Disturb. You’ll know Do Not Disturb is off when the switch is white.

If you’ve made it this far and your iPhone won’t ring, there’s a good chance you may have a hardware problem.

I checked that three times it wasn't the problem. The problem was the tiny switch on the side of the phone above the volume buttons. It got bumped to the off position. (red) I flipped it back on, now my phone is as annoying as ever...
