Status light won't turn on, the won't work

I have a Proscan 33” LED TV (ATSC tuner). I came home and went to turn it on, and the status light flashed and clicked then shut off. I tried resetting. I reset it three times with no luck. Unplugged it as well and tried again. No luck. Idk how to check the mainframe or whatever its called or what to look for. Please help, gaming is what keeps me sane and I can't afford a new TV for awhile.

Hi @toxxic_carress ,

If you have a DMM (digital multimeter) or you know anybody who has one and who knows how to use it, use its’ Ohmmeter function check that the fuse and the surge suppressor on the Power board are OK.

You’ll need to remove the Power board from the TV to test the fuse and the suppressor

Here’s an image showing where the fuse (red box) and the suppressor (red arrow) are located on the Power board.

you want to start checking your power supply. For that you will have to remove the back and check the fuses on your board. Take some good pictures of your boards and post those with your question. That will allow us to see what you see. Also, we need to know the exact model number for your TV.
