red light works, but don't take a shot

There is a red light working on the view-finder. The lights that indicate the surroundings don’t work. And also when I try to take a photo, it is not working. It will not make a shot. Batteries are new. What I think could be a problem, I had it in bag during a heavy raining. I think it could get wet and moisten. Can I do something about that, please? Thank you

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I had something similar happen where the film was either not installed correctly or there was a jam. Take out the film and clear any jam there may be.

Hi Brian.

You know what, I can't even take out the film... I thought it is because the film is "not used-not finished" but it should be possible to take it out? So how can I do it when it doesn't go?

Thank you!

I had to pull the film out almost to the point where I felt like I was going to break something.
