Why can't remove battery

Hello

I am trying to remove battery on Notebook Asus N76V, but I think it have problem with the slider lock because he is on the wrong position and now it is very hard to remove it, I tried a little force to remove it but I wasn’t able to do it… I searched many solution but I didn’t found the solution.

Edit: it is Asus N76VJ but I think it’s the same way to remove battery.

It’s likely that the slider to unlock the battery is broken. First try sliding it to the unlocked position and force the battery out. There isn’t much you can do other than replacing the bottom case. I’ve found though that a lot of times if I force it out, it will come out with little damage.

with flat head screwdriver,

start to lift battery pack from back ( furthest away from battery open slider )

start to lever from right or left ,,, lever from either corner

This worked for me and i did no damage to mechanism

operate lever and apply some silicon spray

I used a plastic pick and started wiggling and sliding.

I spent more than 30 minutes trying before seeing this tip, and I was so happy that I didn't break anything lol
