Won't read my game disc

I bought God of war on eBay and the disc is in near mint condition with no major scratches on the disc. My ps2 can read all my games except for this one game. Any idea on why it won't read this specific game?

Hello,

If you inserting a disc properly but still facing this issue. Then, you should clean the gaming disc properly with the help of soft cotton and water. Clean the disc from the center towards the edges. Do not use any paper

Make sure the game is dry, check still error occur or not.
