How to connect GalaxyS5 to PC if I can't click "transfer files"

Dropped my S5. Can hear notifications, phone ringing, alerts etc. Cannot answer calls or see anything because screen is black. Tried taking battery out etc.

I just want to transfer files to my PC but in order to do that, you have to select ‘connect for file transfer’ option (I think that’s what it’s called), but since I can’t see my phone or click on anything, I’m unable to.

My computer sees the phone but double clicking on it shows nothing (since I can’t select file transfer).

Is there anyway to bypass this somehow or anything else I can do?

Help :(

thank you in advance!

If your screen is black, you may need 3rd party data recover tool to help you transfer files to PC.

I recommend you to try Samsung Data Recovery.Download it on computer and connect your device to computer via USB,the program can scan your files and list them on computer. You cna choose export them to computer.
