Why my radio doesn't start automatically?

Hi!

I just install a new radio in my car, and it works perfectly, it has power, the sound quality is good.

But every time I stop the engine the radio stops as well and when start the engine again the radio doesn’t start by itself I have to push the turn on button, and every time with all the settings resetted.

Answer this question I have this problem too

You need to connect up the ignition wire, depending on your stereo there are 3 wires, 1 red for constant power, 2 yellow for ignition and 3 black for ground.

if everything looks correct then swap the red and yellow wire around. I know with pioneer stereos in some cars those specific wires need swapping.

Then the stereo will will come on automatically when ignition is turned on.
