Hi,

The micro USB charging port will need to be replaced.

As it is an SMD (Surface Mount Device) type component which is directly mounted onto the systemboard, you’ll need SMD soldering tools and expertise to effect the repair.

Here’s a link to the ifixit Nook Tablet Display Replacement guide. It is useful as it shows how to open the tablet to gain access to the systemboard.

At Step.11 in the guide the charge port is visible (you don’t have to actually go all the way to remove the screen to replace the connector - if you’re careful).

If this seems too daunting, contact a reputable, professional electronics or mobile phone repair service and ask for a quote to replace the charge port.
