Phone Won't Boot On Second Attempt

I had to replace the lightening connector assembly for an iPhone 7. Now when I connect the battery to the logic board the phone will only boot once. If I power it down and try to boot again I get the white screen with black logo. If I disconnect the battery connector and let it sit for a while then the phone will boot again but only once. Any ideas.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

That’s an odd problem…

I would try another Lightning flex to see if that solves the problem. I would also encourage you to double check the work you did in case you accidentally damaged or dislodged some components.

I've tried a new flex cable and a new battery. Same result. I unplug the battery flex and let the phone sit for a bit then it will boot. I shutdown and try to do a cold boot and WSOD. Leads me to a cap issue on the logic board....

Tried a new flex and new battery. Problem still is the same. I disconnect the battery for a while and I can turn on the phone. I try to cold boot it after a shutdown and I get WSOD. Seems like a CAP issue on the logic board.
