I ran an OTG evaluation app on the tablet.

Turns out this unit doesn't have the capacity for running OTG hardware and manipulating/updating it is not always functional.

Sigh

Hi ,

You need to connect the camera via an appropriate OTG cable, so that the tablet can supply power to the camera, if the camera hasn’t got its’ own power supply.

Checking online it appears that your tablet may not support OTG.

Here’s a link to an app that you can install to check if your tablet supports OTG. It does NOT provide OTG it just checks if it is available on your tablet.

If your tablet does support OTG search online for Samsung Galaxy SM-T230NU OTG cable to find suppliers.

If your tablet does not support OTG you may be able to use a powered USB hub to connect the camera through to the tablet’s USB port and see if that works. If it does, I appreciate that this is not a very convenient way to use it.
