Replaced screen doesn't turn off when I hold it to my face for a call

I got a new iPhone 7 LCD Screen and Digitizer Full Assembly today. After I replaced the new screen, everything looks good. But when I answered a phone call and held the iPhone to my face, the screen did not turn off.

I put back my old cracked screen and that one does turn off when I answered a phone call.

Any idea for this issue? Or I should return it to IFIXIT?

Have you lined up the front camera assembly correctly? As you need to line up the Proximity sensor to the correct spot so it detects your ear (Head)

Are you transferring over the little plastic pieces that hold the Proximity sensor in place?

You did say full assembly so I'm not sure if that also means the little plastic things, but they will keep it in the right spot I believe.
