Bottom touch screen not working (New)

Hello,

I just replaced my battery and screen on my Ipad and the bottom 1.5inches is not working. I bought the parts from ifixit. I have been a careful as I can on the flat connectors and screen/digitizer as I can and 90% positive nothing is damaged. Is it a part issue or...?

Thanks

The ribbon cable probably got crushed / damaged when fitting the digitizer onto the frame.

The cable at the bottom right must be folded inwards right before closing the bottom right hand side of the digitizer or else the ribbon cable can be crushed between the glass and the iPad frame housing.

But it could also be a defective digitizer, but personally I think there rarely are faulty ones out there for iPad 4 and older.
