well i have been having problems with my iphone 4. my iphone will not turn on, so i opened it up and saw that the black holder that the battery cable attaches too had broken off. i am wondering what i need to buy and i will install it.

Are you talking about the ground that touches the back plate?

Try taking a picture of what you're talking about.

No the battery wire connect to a slot on the mother board and it's black that's what broke off.

That is your battery connector. You ripped it off the board when trying to remove the battery. It can be fixed, as I have done it before. You will need a very small iron though and a microscope. Also, if any solder pads that are lifted or removed, it may be harder to repair. You will have to recover the leads and then solder to it.
