Does not seem to charge, but does not power off?

Hello!

I've got an Ipad air, and I needed to replace the charging port, and the screen aswell.

Now the thing is, after that, everything works fine: It connects to the PC, speakers, headphone jack, all the buttons, WiFi etc. Except for charging. It is just stuck on 3-4%. Even though I charged it for about an hour. Yet it does not quickly turn off, even though an Ipad would with that percentage right?

I do not have the screen attached yet, so I can still easily reach the logic board. Do you guys have any clue what the problem might be? And even better, maybe a way I could fix the issue?

Thanks in advance,

Stijn Nijhuis

You'll want to double check the soldering on the Charge port by checking the continuity from the Lightning port all the way back to the logic board to insure everything is connected properly.

Quick question, why did you replace the charging port? Was it for the same "no charging" issue? If so, then the original problem could be the battery or charge circuit.
