lines on screen, 65z9d

I'm guessing your all going to tell me the screen is bad but hoping it's something else. please take a look at the attached picture.

These lines seem to follow wherever words are found. as I go through the setup there is almost a burn in effect with the screen. The words end up fading out but take a few seconds.

A little history on the tv. It got stuck in a "bootloop" that I could not get it out of. I ended up replacing the main board and am finally out of the bootloop. However, I now have the power light cycling through green and yellow. For the life of me I can not get the thing to update the firmware. I have tried doing a forced reset and plugging a usb with the newest PKG file into it...nothing

dhamilton87 any chance you can post some images of a short video about what your screen display with your question. That way we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that. Also, the main board you replaced is new and it is he same board as the one you replaced. Same version etc? Your error does not really sound like panel error, more like a main board error (noise error and could be a shorted ground etc,.) You need to also try all other video inputs and and check to see if that makes any difference.
