The device doesn't boot without a charger and turn off when heavy use.

Hi all,

The device was functioning properly since it turned off suddenly, now it boots at HTC logo then turned off and doesn't boot completely until I plug it with the charger or any power source.

I noticed that if i enabled the power extreme save mode and unplug the charger it keeps running, until I disable the power save mode and launch a (heavy to CPU) app such as Facebook it turns off again..

So is this could a battery failure or a system issue?

Many thanks in advance.

I liked that HTC, but the battery was a dud. Sorry.

Shut off everything, WiFi, GPS, Btooth, wallpaper, everything you can find running. Check battery power. Now, run it down till battery-alert message pops up. Power it completely OFF. Leave it on the charger all night. By morning, it will have its highest power level. Leave everything OFF, until your new battery is installed.

Yes, that's true.. extreme power save does that (shutting off everything) and it keeps running with the basic functions.. I like it too, but as an old phone I hope to find a new battery for it.

Thank you.
