Why won't my aftermarket deck turn on!

A few times when I was driving my truck the radio would randomly turn off and then back on a few seconds later. This happened a few times then one day it turned off and never came back on. So today I check the plug at the back of the deck and I had power but not ground. I traced the ground wire and found where it was broke. I replaced the ground wire and checked for ground at the deck and everything is good. Now the deck still won't turn on. I have power I have ground and the fuses aren't blown. Is there actually a chance that the deck somehow died at the same time the ground wire broke ? The system is a kenwood Kdc-216s

Hi @jed8814 ,

Have you tried pressing the reset button to check if this restores the unit.
