Backlight turns off randomly, but works again after restart.

I had a screen replacement for my iPhone 6s. After the replacement i’v had issues with the backlight.

After some research i thought it was the filter that was blown (IC), but restarting my phone makes the backlight turn back on every time.

The backlight sometimes turn off 10 times a day, and sometimes as little as one. Very annoying. But still its just a restart and its back.

So i’m wondering if anyone have any other solutions that might help, or is it only the backlight ic that can cause this problem?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Backlight driver / circuit issue on logic board.

Take your phone to a reputable microsoldering that offers a no fix no fee if you want to get it fixed.

Probably going to cost around $100-$200 to fix.

But why will the backlight get back on after a restart of the phone? I thought maybe the backlight would be off all the time if the circuit on the logicboard was the issue.

Because the backlight driver is reset every time you turn the phone off and on.
