HSS25GFPAWW freezer cold, fridge warm

Initially, my HSS25GFPAWW side-by-side stopped cooling and I had a repairman say he knew exactly what it was, that the J2 spot on my main board was burnt out and told me how to resolder it and it worked and I've repeated it twice over the last few years with the same positive results. This time it did not work and both sides were warm with no compressor running but the fan was and I heard a relay on the board click which another repairman say if you can hear it it's bad and a new main control board is the only option. I bought the $239 board, installed it and thankfully didn't have the kind that I had to cut wires on, and the compressor came on and the freezer got down below 0. The compressor fan runs normally and the coils under the fridge are clean and never frozen over. The refrigerator, however, does not get cold. The bottom drawer gets around 40, the middle, 55 and the top shelves get 65. The damper door opens sometimes but there doesn't seem to be a strong air flow coming out but it or the vent aren't frozen or blocked. I even propped the damper door open for the entire day but the refrigerator didn't get much cooler. The evaporator frosts and defrosts seemingly normally, the outer cover or walls never frost up and the evaporator fan runs but seems to blow harder at times but seems to blow harder when the damper door is open and blow easier when it's closed and it's trying to get the freezer cold again after a defrost cycle but that could be my imagination. The damper door has been closed plenty of times but I don't know it's programming and this might be normal to get the freezer colder before opening it. I changed out the thermistor above the evaporator, the one in the base of the freezer and the one connected to the damper door. The damper door opened when I handled the old one in response to the temp from my hand and opened again when I plugged in the fridge after replacing it with the new one. I also replaced the defrost thermostat. What do I try next or is this a lost cause? I was desperate and bought my main control board from a local parts store instead of online and they have a no return policy so I'm already out the $240 but don't want to throw money away.
