My daughter is buying a kenmore washer and drier from these people and it was outside last night , and the temperatures got down in the 20's will it be ok?

swedegeo most likely it will be ok. The dryer should be fine and worst case scenario on the washer are the drain lines or the water pump have some frost damage. Those are easily checked by looking at it. The lines and the pump would have to be full of water in order to get damaged by the freezing, which is unlikely. I'd suggest that your daughter speaks with the people she is buying it from and agrees to check it for leaks first.
