After battery replacement, getting stuck on the battery symbol?

Hi there,

I've changed the screen and battery of my note 5 and now, while charging, the phone doesn't wake up but stay frozen on the battery symbol, even after the whole night plugged.

Now I've just tested to put the older battery in place but the same symbol of a battery not showing it's charging is still here.

Is there any security ? It's a T-mobile model.

Was the screen replacement the LCD only or did it also come pre-assembled with the frame and charger port?

Could be a defective charger port.
