Pink lines which freeze my MacBook & having to force restart

So this just started happening today, i was watching netflix (stranger things lol) and i suddenly got pink horizontal lines on my screen and it froze the computer, having me hold down the power button to force restart, but it keeps happening, any help?

Options

Is your system still under warranty? I would visit an Apple Store ASAP as they should cover it. Anything we offer would be more costly.

I will find out if it is still under warranty, and no I haven’t dont any repairs on it.

I'm slowly realizing that it is getting slower by the day too! And I don't even use it for school work anymore so not many word files.
