Replaced charging port; Replaced battery; worked 5 days then dead

Original problem - battery was dead and would not charge. The charging port was corroded so I replaced it and the battery would not charge. I replaced the battery, discharged new battery to 10% the charged to 100%. Worked fine for five days and now the battery is dead again and will not charge.

It may be the charging ic if the battery drained and went flat then wouldn't charge.

If it is the charging ic then it has to be replaced by someone that does microsoldering.

That was what I was afraid of because I can't get it soldered and the replacement is about $300.00. Thank you.
