Jaguar XJ8 1997 model with airbag warning light on How to fix this.

JAguar XJ8 has an airbag warning light lit. How can I fix this. 1997 model V8.

The problem was in the driver's airbag. Replaced with used item. Thank you for the suggestion.

@alexandercat the best way would be to have the OBD scanned. There are just to many possibilities like a bad connector (like the XJ6 series had) to a bad clockspring in your steering wheel to a blown SRS fuse, etc. It will also help if you can let us know if the light blinks first before it stays on. If so then count the blinks. There are usually a few blinks then a pause followed by more blinks before it finally stays on. So let us know what you find.
