It is easy to remove the batteries from the Braves 805. Begin by removing the buttons on the top side using a pry tool and slotting it between the buttons . The buttons have catch on both sides to hook on the speaker main body
Next, turn the speaker over and remove the grey rubber feet on the left and right side.
Removing the rubber feet presents 2 screws beneath remove the screws, do the same for the other rubber feet.
A small black rectangle plastic sits beneath one of the rubber feet , using a thin flat head screwdriver remove it as well
With all the obstruction out of the way, slide the main body of the speaker either way to separate it from the coloured speaker grill which is red in this case.
There are 6 screws beneath the foam dampers, using a long + screwdriver remove all 6 screws noting that the 2 centre screws are shorter than the 4 corners screws. With the screws out the way , remove the cover that houses the passive bass radiators.
The battery is secured to the main speaker body by 4 screws , remove the screws and place them aside. The battery is connected to the circuit board via a 3 pin connector which is located beside the 12V power connector. Replace the faulty battery with suitable 7.2V battery pack. Replacement battery pack should support temperature monitoring , this corresponds to the middle pin or the yellow cable. With a replacement battery installed assemble the speaker in the reverse order.
personally i reused the original board from the failed battery pack , replacing the 2 pieces of 18650 cells with 4 pieces in 2s2p arrangement for 7.4V , 4400mah capacity. The speaker battery life is approximately 48 hours continuous playback at 50% volume.
hope this helps.
