My display no longer working, but audio seems fine. Repairable?

I have had this tv for 7 years and was just going to get it replaced, but I want to get into repairing things myself, so I figured I'd ask if this would be repairable and if so, how.

The set started flickering the other day and yesterday it would not show a picture at all. The sound seems fine and the power light still comes on, but the display doesn't show any changes whatsoever.

If this is fixable, what sort of tools and parts would I need? And how much would I be expecting to spend on the parts/tools?

Thank you kindly

EDIT: Model number LC22VH56PB

@jinxi Viore is a bit of an off-brand so schematics etc. will be hard to come by. It does sound like you are having an issue with the main board. When you say " flickering" are you referring to the brightnes? Something like going dim and then coming back up etc.? that could be an indication of a bad /failing backlight. Unplug your set and remove the back. then take a look at the board and check for some obvious damage, like domed or leaking capacitors. Post some images of your board and their layout so we can see what you see. Use this guide Adding images to an existing question for that
