There's no sound no matterwhat, HELP!

Ive tried just about everything to get my phone to make noise. Its like my phone is mute now. I've tried listening through headphones and its all static and distorted. I try to make a call. The same thing happens. But when i play it loud, no noise what so ever. Before any of this happened my phone it turned off. It showed a blue screen and some weird pixelated animation before turning off.then i turned it on and no sound. Ive tried rebooting taking the battery out letting it sit. Am i missing something? What do i do?
