Replacement home button, touch id

Hey,

Need to replace my iPhone 6 LCD but I need use of the touch ID. I'm confused as to if the replacement comes with a touch ID button or its only the home button that apple ships that has the id ability.

This is the LCD I'm looking at

Only the original Apple home button will allow you to retain function. If yours is still functional you will have to remove it from the panel and install it on the new one. Carefulness and hot air will help you doing the job properly. Don't forget to turn off the phone and disconnect battery before you start.

Hey man,

Swap out the LCD backplate and the home button and put the original two on the new part. You shouldn't have any issues if the LCD backplate isn't ripped in the process. Be very careful while doing so or you won't have the Touch ID ability.
