Powers on then turns off after a few seconds, what could be the cause?
Vizio M470SV turns on then powers off after a few seconds. What could cause this and what is the fix?

gregloholt if it truly shuts down, check the power board. Possibly bad caps or MOSFETS. Check for obvious damage. If it does not turn off completely just turns dark it is a backlight issue. Check power board, main board as well as T-Con board. Vizio TV's do have known issues with voltage regulators failing on the main boards. Let us know what you find.

Amazon Fire Stick remote could be the issue. I replaced AAA batteries in Fire remote and so far problem hasn’t returned.

Same thing. The only thing I get is vizio on the screen for a half second
