End of my charging cord broke off in the port. Help! Options?

Help! The tip of the charging cord broke off , and is stuck down in the charging port. I've tried to get it out , but no luck. Any advice? I'm thinking the screen has to be removed to get access to the port? Can a screen be removed without cracking it, or am I looking at replacing that too? I'm a little nervous with just taking it to a local repair shop. Does anyone know average cost to replace screen, if that were the case?

Tracy C , Screen should not suffer damage in doing this repair. Normally the broken end in the port should be removable(very carefully), with fine tweezers or dental picks. Below I will post a link to show how a lightning port is accessed to change if need be. I am sure a good local cell/computer shop could do this if you are not up to the task. Good luck.

I hope this helped you out, if so let me know by pressing the helpful button.
