Backup file to PC (NO working screen)

Hi,

I need to backup my iPad mini but it has no working screen as the back light chip needs placing.

Is there any possible was of being able to back my photos up?

if the backlight coil is fried out, you will still get an image.

This means if you hold a flashlight in the right angle, you can see the pictures.

When you plug in the device to a computer, you will get a request to trust the computer.

hit trust on the prompt, and you should be able to back it up like normal. if you get ZERO image, this is not a backlight failure.

I cant get anything to show up on my two lcd screens... which is why I just need to try and extract what I can as I know the board needs replacing,

Unfortunately with the device failing at a board level, the only way to get the data is through Board doctoring. most places that do this style of repair charge a large amount of money for it.

if the other LCD is a known good LCD, and there is no image, even not backlit, then you are looking at likely the GPU failing, or a damaged connector. unfortunately, without extreme costs, or extreme risk of the repair, there is nothing that can be feasibly done to retrieve the data.
