After water damage, changed battery and dock, will not charge

After water damage, I dried the phone in rice and replaced battery.

Worked until battery was dead and would not charge. Meanwhile I replaced the dock connector and cleaned with isopropyl alcohol, all it shows is the battery with a little red.
