Lots of colored lines on screen/stuck on that page.

How do I fix it, or what do I need to do to fix it, is it worth fixing? Have not tried nothing, don't know what to do.

Hi,

First try holding the power button until the tablet shuts down

If this does not work try disconnecting the battery connection from the motherboard, waiting for a minute or two and then reconnecting the battery and then starting the tablet to see if the display is OK.

Since you have to open the tablet to do this you may as well check the LCD screen cable connector on the motherboard to ensure that it is inserted correctly and is securely connected.

Here is a link to the ifixit guide repair guide on how to replace the battery in a Visual Land Prestige 10. I realize that this is not your exact model (cannot find a teardown for that) hopefully it will be close enough to be of some help.

Visual Land Prestige 10 Battery Replacement

If all this still doesn't work and you still have coloured lines on the screen, it will either be a faulty screen or a faulty motherboard.

As the only way to verify that the screen is the problem or not is to try another screen and given that getting one would cost nearly as much as what you have to pay for a fully working used tablet on places such as Ebay etc, approximately $US40-60 here to me is a high risk expenditure option as you do not know for certain that the screen is the problem.

Unfortunately the only way to connect the tablet to an external screen of any sort is via WiFi and since you cannot see anything correctly on the screen (if it still has lines through it etc) you cannot select the correct settings etc. to enable you to do this.
