Home Unavailable, Restart Not Helpful, Stuck On Blue Screen

So "unfortunately, home has stopped" started popping up late last night while I was on Instagram on my phone, but didn't think about it because it wasn't imperative that I go to home screen for my gallery or photo editor (was just something I was going to do)

I ended up falling asleep for an hour and half and when I woke up I still couldn't go to the home screen...so I restarted my phone hoping that would fix the problem.

It didn't.

It has been stuck on the blue tracfone screen (just flashing blue, no actual symbol really) and won't do anything else.

I even took the battery out hoping that would help but still just the dumb blue screen flickering away...

Anyone have any solutions, I would appreciate it so much.

I just need it to work enough to get pictures off of it and send messages saying the phone is kaput.
