I have had this problem as well. I performed a forced shutdown and reboot. To do this it is very simple, when it freezes hold down the power and home button at the same time for about 5 seconds until the screen goes black and release both buttons. Once it is off then simply press the power button for a couple of seconds to boot it back up. If it freezes again perform the same but this time continue to hold the power and home buttons through the black screen until you see the apple logo again, at this point release both buttons. If it continues to freeze you may need to perform a full restore of your phone. The reason is there may be some corrupted software and restoring the phone will reload the most up to date Operating System (OS) as well as updated apps. Hope this helps!

could you give a little more information on this problem, like under what conditions you screen freezes. if you click the home button whilst the screen is frozen does it immediately return to the home screen or is there a slight pause.

If it's anything like my 6s Plus, then it randomly becomes unresponsive and must be locked and unlocked (sometimes multiple times) or restarted before the screen will respond again. Mine will also open things by itself. Most recently, it ordered from Uber Eats (1 egg roll) while glitching and I was unable to do anything but watch .

I also have a 6 plus and does what you described, mine will start typing open website , I have to multiple times power off if it will let me , I bought this iPhone 6 plus at Walmart as a used refurb phone and bought a 2 year warranty I'm hoping I don't have to send back for repairs, but wondering if anyone or you have found how to get past these issues.
