Why is the screen blurred?

I recently believe that I stepped on my Ipod nano. One side of the screen is white while the other side is blurred with lines in the screen. Is there any way I can fix it or do I have to get a completely new Ipod?

Options

If the only problem with it is that the display is distorted, then you probably just need to replace the LCD.
