When I follow the repair guide for the disassembling of the screen on my GPS, I can't figure out how to separate the LCD screen from the device. It seems there is an adhesive or something holding it in place.
Since there are no screws, is the screen even removable from the device? If so, what tool could help me?

Hi Alec, there is a replacement guide for the LCD screen on a Garmin GPS here.
In reference to your question, sometimes there is extra adhesive on the LCD screen. You should use a metal spudger, from the Ifixit Pro Tech Toolkit, to gently pry underneath the sides of the screen until it separates from the device. Be careful not to tear any of the wiring or components of the device.
