Well you have not provided a lot of background information but maybe it's just your internet tier speed. What is your internet speed (Ex. 1 GBPS *They could be higher or lower I just used mine as an example)

What OS is installed in your laptop? If you are connected to a home WiFi network what is the make and model number of the wireless router that you are using for your WiFi network?

Are there a lot of neighbouring WLANs? They could slow down the speed of your WLAN because of interference.
