The Magellan RoadMate 5120-LMTX is an in-vehicle GPS receiver with a 5-inch color touch screen. It is identifiable by the model number on the sticker on the bottom of the device.

Why isn't my touch screen working?

Whenever I use my touch screen, where I'm touching and where it thinks I'm touching aren't in the same spot.

The touch screen on this device is a very critical component. You need it to work to use the RoadMate. If your screen isn't functioning correctly try these solutions. First, power off the device and wipe the screen off with a microfiber cloth. If something on the screen is registering a touch it could be causing your touch to miss the mark. Alternatively, the screen may be failing due to extreme temperatures. Take the device inside and allow it to get to room temperature. If the screen starts working again you would need to remove the device from your car when it is not in use. Use this guide to troubleshoot any additional issues.
