Fills but won't spin after spring replacement.

One of the suspension springs broke during a cycle and we replaced it. Now there is no movement on the drum. The belt and motor seem fine. It will spin freely by hand. No squealing like a bad bearing.

It fills up with water so I don't thin it's the door switch or the lock.

I'm wondering if there is a vibration switch or something that needs to be reset? Seems unlikely that the control board would break the same time as the spring.

One of the stabilizing arms broke when the drum fell after the spring broke. We didn't notice the arm until we swapped the spring. The back is still off. Is there a safety to stop it spinning with the back off?

Stabilizing arm is on order. Was trying to do a small load in the meantime.
