Why won't my pointer move on the screen?

I am unable to make my pointer move on the screen of my laptop. I have resorted to using only my touchscreen for pointer input, but I would prefer to be able to use my laptop's touch pad again.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

1 Answer

1. Go to the control panel

2. mouse

3. Device settings

Be sure that the check box for "Disable internal pointing device when an external device is attached" is not checked.

If that does not solve the issue the F5 function key toggles the touchpad on and off when there is no mouse present.

I hope this helped to solve your issue
