How do I take of the screen's digitizer from the LCD?

I saw the post on how to take the screen off, but I wasn't sure how to go about taking off the digitizer for the screen. Is the digitizer even replaceable?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Your laptop with only have a digitizer if it is touch screen, if it is then the digitizer normally just sits on top of the LCD and they will probably come out together but be separable. There is also a slim chance that the digitizer and LCD are fused together which would mean that they would both have to be replaced together.

I believe it is separable but im not sure. Would i have to heat it up? As with a phone digitizer? Or would the be some screws after i take the screen off the body? I found online that they can be purchased separately, so i have the suspison that it is separable with not too much effort.

I would imagine that they are easily separable if you can find them online as two seperate parts and so would probably use screws. Normally they are only fused (need to be heated to seperate) on smaller displays like smartphones.
