Computer won't turn on but orange charge light lit up.

So when I plug in my computer to charge the orange charge light turns on (the computer had died so I went to charge it). I left it to charge for about 10 minutes then came back to turn it on, but nothing happened. The orange light usually flickers to tell me it's not charged enough to turn on, but it just got a little brighter when I pressed the power button and did nothing else. I tried a different charger, with the same results. How can I fix this problem?
