Replaced the screen, works, but battery not charging?

So, I replaced the screen of my iPhone 6. I had not used it for two months after cracking the screen. Now that I fixed it, the phone has yet to fully boot up. It does show the apple logo and then the low battery. But, this has been repeating since I started to charge it an hour ago. Should I leave it be and let it charge or is there another option?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Just leave it charge, for an hour or so. If it doesn't get any better you may have to replace the battery. Which is an easy fix. Keep us posted.

No signs of life yet, still checking some things out. Setting a timer now. It does indeed contine to show the logo for a second then dissappears to the low battery picture.

I figure it is the battery. I disconnected it and the phone itself was fine, the battery was displaying the symbol with three bars of red. It's been charging for an hour, so it's definitely a shot battery.

Yes, that's interesting that it went bad. Look for an apple certified battery when buying. Cause lots of times the percentage indicator doesn't work with aftermarket battery's. Keep us posted.
