Power loss issues after potential water damage?

My Flex 3's battery died a few months back, and certain key switches don't register anymore. I've been running it from the wall and using the touch keyboard, but in the last few days it's been shutting down suddenly and randomly. I've been keeping it elevated and above a fan. It remains cool to the touch and still loses power. Is there anything I can do? It is in warranty, should I take it in? Any advice would be very helpful, thank you.

Hi,

As it is still in warranty I suggest that you check what the warranty says regarding water damage (or damage by the user), and also the battery as a lot of manufacturers have a reduced warranty period for the battery in their devices. (This is just so you are aware of what is covered by the warranty).

If you feel that your device falls within the conditions of the warranty then follow the instructions outlined by the warranty document as to what you need to do to make a claim for a warranty repair.
