What kind of resister should be used in my laptop?

My laptop fan standard 5v 0.35a, the original sound really loud. It became very light when I plus a 30 ohm resistor--http://www.kynix.com/Parts/868678/HR0130.... But the temperature will getting higher when cpu was busy. Should I change it ? What kind of resistor should be appropriate? Or is there some formula or not? I will be very appreciate if you give me some advice. Thanks a lot!

@amandali this is not a resistor issue but a fan issue. As you have noticed by adding a resistor you are impeeding the fan and running a chance of over heating. Replace your fan.
