Charge port, no service

So I've had trouble with my charge port being picky on chargers and now my headphones are being a pain. So I ordered a new charge port and everytime I change it I have no service. I have tried 3 different ones now and still the same issue. They have been eBay ones and I did order one off of here and am just waiting for it to show up in the mail. I just find it hard to believe that 3 of them were defective. I have tried resetting my network settings and still no good. My original one works but the first time I pulled it out I ripped it just a little bit and my speaker doesn't work. Has anybody else had this problem with not having service after changing the charge port. And yes the antenna is hooked up. I have made sure of that on everyone I have replaced.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

You will have to change the antena too, the problem is because its a really tiny piece, so propobly it get damaged while changing the port, try to look the inside of the antena cable it most have a little stick inside, its really weak so probably your plug it in, but doesnt make a conexion with the motherboard.

Good luck

noup the antena its a different part. its next to the camara so check that you didnt broke it !!

I didn't break it, being that when I put my original charge port back in I have perfectly fine service. But the second I put a different charge port in I have no service.

Ripping the charger port ribbon cable a bit and the loudspeaker not working is a common issue. I did it before myself on a iPhone 6 Plus after unplugging the ribbon cable.

It's the two data lines on the charger port ribbon cable that have basically been cut when you rip the cable thus explains why the loudspeaker / bottom speaker does not work.

I get that's why the speaker doesn't work. I don't understand why I don't have service when I put a different charge port in. Everything else works but I have no service. If I put my old charge port back in I have service.

my lightning port went bad and ordered a new on from IFixit. Change went well, with the exception of getting the antenna connection seated. Felt I had it good and reassembled. Had littler to no signal. Ordered another lightning board, this time inspected the jack and pin with magnifier glass and all looked good. Connected the antenna first and made sure I had a good solid connection, reassembled but still no signal....looks like its time for a new phone....

anyone have luck with this?
