I can not get the cable in the motherboard (centrally mounted drive)

My ps3 slim has a centrally mounted drive and i am having great difficulty getting the large cable in the motherboard socket. I have tried tweezers and fingers.

The drive is from a 2503a slim and has a very short cable. The back of the drive has a white plastic piece that arranges the smaller cables and a metallic guider. I tried taking the bluray apart but could not after taking all the screws out i could see.

Can you help?

Managed to do it but it was very difficult lucky i have small hands.
