My power port stopped working and needs to be replaced, how?

my computer ah was jostled and broken, and the power port got liquid on it, hasn't worked since and the computer is out of battery.

the guide for MagSafe replacement isn't for my model

Just in case: did you try charging with another charger, does the mac turn on, are you sure it is the MagSafe port? It also could be the charging circuit or the battery or the charger.

yep, I tried multiple chargers, plugs, etc. Mac does not turn on due to complete battery drain. no light on the charge cord comes on.

yeah than you might try replacing the port. (just at own risk) i am not responible for any damage. i am just thinking what to do. a pc is pretty complex.

i hope i could help (just verify that the Axxxx numbers are the same)
